MCT oil contains saturated fatty acids and monounsaturated fatty acid. Simyl-MCT is recommended as a nutrition for low birth weight babies and in fat malabsorption.
Simyl MCT contains Medium Chain Triglycerides which help in weight gain of the child.
MCT oil is a fat produced from coconut oil and palm kernels.
MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) is useful for newborn infants, to both assist their initial growth and to contribute to their physiological development. The absorption of calcium and magnesium appears to be enhanced when the diet contains MCTs, particularly in infants, and the absorption of amino acids also appears to be improved.
